<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/X2xYqvUdHLg” title=”YouTube video player” frameborder=”0″ allow=”accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture” allowfullscreen></iframe> hey there this is Jophiel with SkyPoint Studios and today I want to talk about how does color psychology play into brands and how they’re perceived so there’s actually a whole study and a phenomenon around colors and how they make us feel in a way that we don’t even really realize that much more subconsciously and so colors have been known through studies scientific studies to make changes minor changes in the way people feel about something so for example red is energizing and more exciting and makes you want to take action it’s been associated with food brands so you’ll notice that McDonald’s and burger king and a lot of these other companies that sell food related products will use red in their branding because red will make you feel hungry you feel excited that you want to take action and then on the other side of the spectrum is blue blue is related to trust and and making you feel comfort and like a friend and someone that you can really feel is going to be there for you and you’ll notice a lot of brands that use blue like you know best buy and some of these other companies like some of the airline companies use blue they want you to feel trusted that you’re they’re pal they’re going to take care of you that you can trust on them and rely on them we use blue in our branding because that’s that’s the perception that we have with our customers we want them to feel that we can trust us and we’re going to be there for them for their web design needs so when it comes to your brand definitely think about the colors that you’re using and how you’re connecting those two together yellow is another one that means friendliness and welcoming and like sunshine and in our company we use blue and yellow those are our two companies so we’re trusting and we’re friendly and that’s really that’s the perception that we uh the that we get across with our branding but it’s also the way that we treat our customers and how we feel about the way that we create web designs and and products for the web so this is joey with skype studios if you have more questions about brand psychology and the colors that you should be choosing for your brand please comment below I’d be love to help you take a look at your brand and give you some thoughts on what i think about your colors and your choices so Jophiel with SkyPoint Studios thank you so much for watching
